Hunting in a populated area like Beverly Shores requires extra care be taken not only for safety, but also to respect the feelings of the few individuals who oppose the hunt. This can best be accomplished by staying out of sight, off the public roadways and parks as much as possible.
In addition:EARN A BUCK applies to URBAN TAGS. NO TAGGING FOR ANOTHER HUNTER. Doing so will mean immediate cancelation of your Permit.
Hunt from tree stands (this will work in all but a couple of sites).
If possible park your vehicles out of sight.
DO NOT FIELD DRESS the DEER in BEVERLY SHORES.
Account for all your arrows. If you lose one, let us know where it was lost.
Tarp all deer out of courtesy for those who do not want to see them.
Please respond politely to any harassment you might encounter, report it to Tom Lane (219-363-7593) or David Jacobucci (219-898-7383) or Ray Szarmach (219-874-776-8663) in that order. If none of the three can be reached contact the Beverly Shores police.
